Lodging:
1. Hotels – There are numerous hotels in the Fort Hood/Killeen/Belton area. The Rally will not endorse a specific hotel, and your best bet is to do a internet search to find and make arrangements for available off-post accommodation. Attached is a partial list of hotels and phone numbers for your convenience.

2. On-Post Transient Lodging -
FYI for military retiree's...You may be eligible to stay at the Transient Lodging on main post. I suggest you call to clarify your status and your eligibility. I do NOT have the authority to block rooms for this event, and your stay will be subject to your eligibility status:
- Building 36006 (High Rise) on Wratten Drive, Ft Hood

3. Primitive Camping:
Camping has been arranged at the
Fort Hood Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA). There is public
access to this facility via Sparta Road from I-35 in Belton, TX or from main
post Fort Hood via North Nolan Road. Reservations and payment will be made
directly with the BLORA office. The place reserved for Rally participants
is the “Mountain Bike Trail” primitive campsite unlimited primitive campsites and RV hook-ups [first
come-first served]. There is water, porta-potties, and electricity
available. Wheeled vehicles can park at your campsite, and tracked
vehicles have a designated space right outside the fence within view of your
campsite. Both parking and camping have access directly to the tank
trails.
BLORA office is open 24/7, so you have flexibility in arriving. Early arrival can be arranged, so if you plan to travel prior to the Rally start date, please let me know.
4. For DoD civilians: DoD civilians have the option to stay in the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area which is adjacent to the BLORA Ranch. BLORA is a beautiful, comprehensive 89 acre recreational facility nestled against Belton Lake. The facility offers fishing, swimming, boating and camping. The facility is located 14 miles north of the main post.
Cottages – One bedroom cottages (sleeps four adults) and two bedroom cottages (sleeps six adults), equipped with full kitchens, linens, screened-in porches, bar-b-que and picnic tables are available for rent.
Individual Camping Sites – BLORA welcomes campers. Partial and full hookups are available throughout the recreation area at RV sites. Primitive tent sites are available as well. Dump stations are conveniently located near the camping areas. Most sites are filled on a “first-come, first-served” basis; please call for space availability and more information. Limited reservations are available at select camping sites. Patrons must be authorized users to rent campers and sites.
