Lodging:
IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL CABINS ARE RESERVED AT THIS TIME:
Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Center (BLORA) has limited cabins (freeze damage).
I am in contact with BLORA and if any additional cabins come available, they will be reserved for the Rally. IF we get cabins reserved, I am going to hold them for folks that have mobility challenges.
NOTE: Contact me directly if you would like to reserve a cabin (First Come/First Served). I will make sure everyone knows if additional cabin comes available. So, plan your lodging accordingly.

1. Primitive Camping: Camping has been arranged at the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA). There is public access to this facility via Sparta Road from I-35 in Belton, TX or from main post via North Nolan Road. Reservations and payment will be made directly with the BLORA office. There is water, porta-potties, and electricity available. Wheeled vehicles can park at your campsite, and tracked vehicles have a designated space right outside the fence within view of your campsite. Both parking and camping have access directly to the tank trails.
BLORA office is open 24/7, so you have flexibility in arriving. Early arrival can be arranged, so if you plan to travel prior to the Rally start date, please let me know.
2. For DoD civilians: DoD civilians have the option to stay in the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area which is adjacent to the BLORA Ranch. BLORA is a beautiful, comprehensive 89 acre recreational facility nestled against Belton Lake. The facility offers fishing, swimming, boating and camping. The facility is located 14 miles north of the main post.
Cottages (see above: contact me directly to reserve a cabin) – One bedroom cottages (sleeps four adults) and two bedroom cottages (sleeps six adults), equipped with full kitchens, linens, screened-in porches, bar-b-que and picnic tables are available for rent.
Individual Camping Sites – BLORA welcomes campers. Partial and full hookups are available throughout the recreation area at RV sites. Primitive tent sites are available as well. Dump stations are conveniently located near the camping areas. Most sites are filled on a “first-come, first-served” basis; please call for space availability and more information. Limited reservations are available at select camping sites. Patrons must be authorized users to rent campers and sites.
Prices per campground and type are as on the following web-link: www.hoodmwr.com/camping.htm. For more information call: 254-287-2523/8303.
