Day 1: Ceremony briefing
We were invited to participate in the III Corps Pass-in-Review ceremony honoring Vietnam veterans and the Soldiers during Phantom Warrior Week.
Day 1: 89th MP commander invitation
The 89th MP commander, COL Williams tracked down our MP and invited him over to his HQ to attend an awards presentation to active duty Soldiers.

We SP'd (start point) at the 1st CAV museum and traveled across post to the ammunition access road to West Fort Hood. We explored the 1946 era Nuclear Weapons Bunker and moved on to the western Training Areas to explore.
Day 2: 1942-43 barracks and gym at Fort Hood being demolished - drive to West F.H.

The morning started out with some maintenance, and after a relaxing cup of coffee, we headed out to explore the east side of the installation.
